Knight has served as a graduate assistant coach for Southeastern since 2018.

Knight was a decorated four-year wrestler and team captain for the Fire. He was the Mid-South Conference Champion of Character, Academic All-MSC, conference tournament placer (fourth place), and appeared in the individual Top-20 NAIA National Individual Rankings.

Additionally, Knight serves as 2nd Lieutenant Platoon Leader for the United States Army. He trains and leads a platoon of over 50 intelligence soldiers in the US
Army throughout Military Intel procedures.
