SOPHOMORE (2014): Made 20 appearances with 14 out of the bullpen...Finished the season with a 7-3 record and a 5.10 ERA...Worked 47.2 innings, striking out 41 and walking 25...Allowed just nine extra-base hits in 236 batters...Earned the win against Calumet on 1/25, throwing five shutout innings, allowing just one hit, and striking out three...Recorded season-best 10 K's over 4.1 innings in a loss to Spring Arbor.
FRESHMAN (2013): Played 14 games, starting 11, registered three hits, and drove in a run...Also drew 10 walks...Made three appearances on the mound with an 0-1 record...Had five strikeouts and one walk in 6.1 innings.
HIGH SCHOOL: In Ruppenthal's senior season he was named 1st Team All-League and was a All-District and All-County selection...He helped his team to three district titles in his time.
PERSONAL: Mike is the son of Barry and Laura Ruppenthal...Father played baseball in the Angels organization...Also enjoys ping pong, deer hunting, and fishing.
