JUNIOR (2024): Sekinger bumped up her numbers significantly from her sophomore to her junior season. Securing 56 hits in 147 tries, adding 19 RBIs, 23 runs, 13 walks, and only seven strikeouts. Her on base percentage was .379 percent, and she batted .381. Her best outing came at RV Keiser, where in game two she batted 4-5 with two RBIs and scored a run in the 10-2 run rule victory. Her standout season was awarded with postseason accolades, including her second Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection, and her first NFCA-NAIA All-Region II First Team selection. Additionally, she was outstanding in the classroom, earning CSC Academic All-District, Sun Conference All-Academic, and NAIA Daktronic Scholar-Athlete.

SOPHOMORE (2024): Sekinger started all 58 games she played in, collecting 48 hits with a .291 batting average. Her hits resulted in 24 RBIs and 13 runs scored. In a 14-0 win over Calumet College of St. Joseph she went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Against Webber International on April 13, she went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, helping to aid the Fire to a 8-0 win. Academically, she earned Sun Conference All-Academic and Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.

FRESHMAN (2023): Second Team All-Sun Conference. Started in all 51 contests at third base and recorded a .296 average with 40 hits in 135 at bats. Drove in 14 runs with four doubles and only struck out twice all season. Fielded .970 in 203 chances.

HIGH SCHOOL: LHSAA All-Academic Scholar Athlete Award. St. Mary’s Dominican High School Lou Reilly Athletic award. LHSAA All-District in 2021 and 2022. 2022 LSWA Class 5A All-State Honorable Mention. District and State Champions in 2019.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Melissa and Erik. Cousin Claire is also a member of SEU softball. Favorite athlete is Joe Burrow and favorite teams are the New Orleans Saints and Houston Astros. Favorite show is Criminal Minds.
