Biography

SENIOR (2024-25): Blazquez started in 22 of the 31 total games played, with an average of 10.4 points scored per game. He shot 39.2% for a total of 322 points, with the most points scored in a single game coming in at 28 points against the Webber Warriors. This was one of 16 games Blazquez shot for 10 or more points, and one of three 20+ point performances, recording his 1,000th career point at Keiser on February 8th. Blazquez also led the team with 39 steals and 112 assists. His efforts earned him Second Team All-Sun Conference honors.

JUNIOR (2023-24): Blazquez started 17 of the 26 games, his 44 percent shooting resulted in 12.1 points per game. Over the season he scored 315 total points, gathered 81 rebounds, and 67 assists. He scored 10+ in 17 different games including back-to-back wins against Cumberlands (TN) on December 15 and Saint Francis (IN) on December 16 he scored 25 and 26 points on 17-30 shooting.

SOPHOMORE (2022-23): Played in 31 contests for the Fire, totaling 324 points for an average of 10.5 per game. Shot 40% from the field and averaged 3.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

FRESHMAN (2021-22): Was named the Sun Conference Freshman of the Year after recording 113 points, 44 assists and 16 steals in 29 games played.

HIGH SCHOOL: Coach was Treig Burke. First Team All-District. Two-time State Champion with two different schools. AAU coach was Diana Gillion. AAU Team was the Showtime Ballers.

Future Goals: Play professional basketball if it is in God's will. Be the best father and husband I can be, and be successful. If basketball doesn’t work out I would love to help the youth in skills development and training.

Why Southeastern: "I chose SEU because it felt like home when I came on a visit. It just felt perfect for me and I felt wanted. Also you don’t always gets the opportunity of going to a great school and it also being a Christian based university."
