GRADUATE (2022): Played and Started in all 20 games….Lead the Fire in minutes played with 1709…Starting outside back assisted on the first goal of the season against Olivet Nazarene (8/24).

GRADUATE STUDENT (2021): Started all 19 games on defense for the Fire and recorded an assist against Florida Memorial on October 16th.

SENIOR (2020): Saw time in seven games including three starts after transfering in at semester break.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Appeared in 36 career matches at Arizona Christian. Scored a goal and dished out seven assists. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years varsity under Head Coach Ryan Heiss. Team captain and made 73 starts at right back for the Bronco. Won the Southwestern League Championship in 2015 and 2016. Helped VMHS reach the CIF semifinals and state Regional semifinals. Awarded Second Team All-Southwestern League. Favorite highlight was beating Newberry Park in the CIF-SS DII quarterfinals. Earned Scholar Athlete from 2015 to 2017 and Principal’s Honor Roll as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Marci Matthews. Pursuing her MBA in Executive Leadership. Has volunteered with Feed My Starving Children and Operation Christmas Child. Uncle Freddy played football professionally for the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Enjoys watching Grey's Anatomy and eating pasta or Mexican food.
