Johnson is in his first season working with the SEU women's soccer program as an assistant coach.

Johnson also serves as the Director of Alumni Relations at Southeastern.

Joel is a 1992 alum of SEU, where he played soccer for three seasons and was an Honorable-Mention All-American his senior season.

Johnson brings extensive collegiate coaching experience to the Fire staff, previously having served as the men's soccer head coach at Crown College Minnesota from 1994-1995 and in the same role at Toccoa Falls College in Ga from 1998-2004.

Joel's wife Sandy works for Pathways School of Excellence on campus at SEU. All four of their children attend Southeastern.
