Miriam Hartzler

Hartzler joins the Fire after spending three seasons at the helm of the Cairn University women's basketball program, where she recently led a trip to the Colonial States Athletic Conference Tournament, as well as the Senior Women's Administrator and Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Facilities.

Prior to Cairn, Hartzler spent 2006-2018 at Timothy Christian School in Piscataway, N.J., serving in multiple roles such as athletic director, principal, coach, and teacher. As a teacher, she was awarded Teacher of the Year honors for her work as a Physical Education and Health educator in 2009.

After spending four seasons at the Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania as a student-athlete, Hartzler earned four NCCAA All-American honors and was named the NCCAA Player of the Year in 2003.

While at Clarks Summit, she spent her time earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Social Studies and went on to earn a master's degree in Education with an emphasis on Health, Physical Education, and Coaching.
