Hert is entering her fifth season as a member of the Fire coaching staff. 

The Glenwood Springs, Colo. Native was a four year player at Colorado Christian, where she was coached by Hays.

She played in 115 games at CCU, scored 795 career points, and averaged 5.1
rebounds per game. Her senior season (2011-12), she shot a career best 50% from the field (76-152) and helped lead the Cougars to becoming 2012 NCCAA National Champions.

Hert also was a two time RMAC All-Academic Honorable Mention (09-10, 11-12) during her time at CCU.
