FRESHMAN (2025): The freshman had to learn and adapt quickly, and that she did. Having to step into the starting role due to an outfield injury to the starter, Brooks used the chance to prove her worth. She went on to start every one of her 40 appearances in either the left or right field. She notched 33 hits on 92 at bats for a .359 average which was third best in the season. Racking up 14 RBIs, and 17 runs scored, accompanied by seven walks and two hit by pitch which boosted a .412 on base percentage. She put away 93 batters, and turned in her batting performance against Mount Vernon Nazarene, when she went 3-4 with two RBIs and a run scored in the 9-1 run rule victory. Her success did not go unnoticed as she was awarded Sun Conference Softball Freshman of the Year, and Second-Team All-Sun Conference.
