SOPHOMORE (2026): Planeta started 24 of the 31 games she played in. Starting at catcher, and flexing at the designated player position in games she didn't start. She batted .262, driving in 12 runs on 16 hits with 10 runs scored herself. Arguably, her best game of the season came in the Fire's 5-0 win over No. 6 Mobile where she drove home two runs in a 2-3 outing.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Christopher and Kerry. Won the Warrior Award in 2023 and 2024, and was named All-State in 2023. Won the 3A FHSAA State Championship in 2022 and 2023. Was the state championship in 2024. Dad, Chris, played NCAA DI baseball at VMI. Brother, Bo, played baseball at Lafayette. Grandfather played football at George Washington University. Favorite sports team are the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Eagles. Has been featured int he Tampa Bay Times, Sports Illustrated, 93.3 FLZ, and TBN Weekly. Favorite movie is Lego Batman.  High School coach was Dion Weaver. Favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:23.
