Biography

SENIOR (2025): The 2024 Sun Conference Tournament MVP ramped up his output from junior to senior season. Batting .373, the First-Team All-Sun Conference selection notched 82 hits, driving home 81 runs, a number that is third all-time in Southeastern single season history. He started 58 of 62 games, scoring 63 runs and boasted a team best 15 home runs. The ability to drive runners home showed in his .642 slugging percentage. He was hit by 13 pitches, and walked 34 times, boosting a .469 on base percentage. Seven times, Villalobos recorded 3+ hits, against Warner he connected with the game-winning 13th inning grand slam. Most notably, in the Avista NAIA World Series opener against Sun Conference rival #5 Webber International, he broke open the scoring with a first inning two run homer. Finishing the game with a 3-4, four RBI, three run, one walk line as the Fire dominated the Warriors 15-2 in seven innings. His success was recognized as he earned the Fire’s 13th ever First-Team NAIA All-American, and earned a spot on the Avista NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team and Sun Conference All-Tournament Team. His field success was matched in the classroom, as he was acknowledged with Sun Conference All-Academic, NAIA Daktronic Scholar-Athlete, and CSC Academic All-District.

JUNIOR (2024): Villalobos started 18 games in 31 appearances. Over his appearances he batted .378 with 31 hits, 22 RBIs, and hit two homers. His base running resulted in 16 runs scored and a stolen base. He was Sun Conference Tournament MVP for his 7-13 performance over Fire’s four wins, leading to a fourth straight Sun Conference Tournament win. Through the stretch he scored twice and batted home five RBIs. In a 7-2 win over University of Science and Arts, he notched his third three-hit performance of the season with two RBIs and a double helping to push the Fire through to the Avista NAIA World Series.
