SENIOR (2024-25): Started in all 31 games over the course of the season, averaging 10.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Murphy shot 39.2% for a total of 328 points. His season high of 26 points in one game came against tpp seeded Keiser University in the Sun Conference tournament semifinal game, one of 16 10+ point performances. Against New College of Florida he recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 steals. His heroics in the Sun Conference Tournament earned him a spot on the Sun Conference All-Tournament Team.

JUNIOR (2023-24): Murphy started 11 of the 27 games he played in. Averaging 7.0 points per game with 188 total points on 38.3 percent shooting. He corralled 79 rebounds and added 33 assists and 15 steals. In a home win over New College of Florida on November 18, he had 18 points on 15-18 free throw shooting, and five assists, for one of his 10 10+ point performances.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent three seasons at Faulkner University where he totaled 66 games played and 20 starts. Recorded a .338 field goal percentage and .354 three-point percentage. Averaged 5.3 points per game with 69 assists and 31 steals.

HIGH SCHOOL: Coach was John Hopson. Scored 1,000 career points. Two-Time All-District. Two-time All-District Tournament team. First Team All-Region. All-Region Tournament team. AAU team was the Taft Elite.
