Vincent Davis was hired in June of 2021 as the Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach for the Fire, bringing nearly 20 years of coaching experience in the NAIA and at the high school level to SEU. 

Most recently, Davis was at fellow Mid-South Sun Division member Webber International, coaching the defensive line and heading recruiting efforts. In Babson Park, Davis mentored three-time all-conference lineman Dequan Harvin who was fourth nationally in tackles for loss per game. 

Additionally, Davis spent time at Campbellsville University where he coached the defensive line and served as recruiting coordinator for four seasons, and was in the same role the prior two seasons at Waldorf College in Iowa. His first collegiate coaching job was at Tiffin during the 2009 season. 

Prior to the college ranks, Davis spent six seasons at the Defensive Line Coach at Wharton High School in Tampa, winning a district title and sending five players from his position group to NCAA Division I programs.
