MacIntyre is in his first season as an assistant coach on the SEU Football staff, primarily working with the wide receivers.
In 2018, MacIntyre wrapped up an illustrious four-year career at NCAA Division I University of Colorado in Boulder. Jay finished 26th all-time in career receptions with 86 and 30th in receiving yards (1,035).
Jay was voted a captain his senior season by his teammates. MacIntyre won the Ceal Barry Leadership Award as a junior, given by the University of Colorado Athletic Department for “inspiring others through exemplary commitment,
composure and integrity.” He also received the Iron Buffalo Award which “recognizes hard work, dedication, toughness and total lifting performance.”
MacIntyre graduated from Colorado Boulder with a Communications degree and a minor in Leadership. He also served on the leadership board in Boulder for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where he helped launch an FCA on his university campus.
Jay is the son of Trisha and former Colorado Boulder head football coach Mike MacIntyre, who currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator at Ole Miss University. Jay is the brother of Jennifer and Jonston.
