David Green

David Green born and raised in Orlando FL, commenced his collegiate career at NCAA DII Mars Hill University in North Carolina. He spent two years in North Carolina before moving closer to home to attend Southeastern University in Lakeland FL.

At SEU, he graduated with his B.A in Sports Management. While playing collegiate football he made the All-Sun Conference First Team and also was named the very first All-American in Southeastern University football history. He also received the conference Champion of Character award for his work ethic and servant-leadership. 
 
  • Was a part of the 2016 Fire defense as a defensive lineman that was third in the NAIA against the run, allowing just 87.6 yards per game, and second in sacks per game at 3.7
  • Was a part of the 2016 Fire team that qualified for the NAIA Football Championship Series for the first time in program history, finishing the season at 7-3.
  • Been on staff at SEU for the past 2 seasons as an assistant Defensive Coach
  • On last season’s staff that won the Mid-South Conference Sun Division title, helping with a defense that set school records for pass defense (104.4 ypg), pass efficiency (75.7), total defense (268.8 ypg), interceptions (14), and tackles (732).
