Dave Robson joined the Fire football coaching staff during the Fall of 2013, helping the team prepare for its first year of play in 2014.
Serving as the running backs coach, Robson has helped Jarrell Reynolds become one of the most prolific rushers in the NAIA. During the 2014 season, Reynolds was third in the nation in rushing per game at 146.9, and second in scoring at 162 points.
In 2015, the Fire averaged 217.9 yards per game on the ground, and Reynolds was sixth at 127 yards per game.
Before coming to Southeastern, Robson spent 27 years coaching at the high school level in Polk County. He coached four future NFL players during his time at Kathleen High School, including former Super Bowl MVP Ray Lewis.
Additionally, he helped Auburndale win two district titles as offensive coordinator, and helped Lake Gibson win a pair of district titles as an assistant.
