PREVIOUS SCHOOLS: Started 21 games for NCAA Division II Florida Souther College throughout the shortened 2020 campaign. At FSC, Diewert hit .268, driving in 12 runs on 19 hits and recording four home runs. Redshirted in 2018 at NCAA Division I Missouri. Spent two seasons at Polk State College in nearby Winter Haven, Fla. Posted a .315 career batting average with 14 home runs and 63 stolen bases. Collected a PSC school record 50 extra-base hits. Led Polk State to conference championships in both 2016 and 2017. Earned All-Conference in 2016 and 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL: Had an excellent prep career under Doug Rogers at Chemainus Secondary High School. Led CSHS to a 30-12 season and second in their Province his senior year. Hit .370 with four home runs and 42 RBI his senior year. Earned Team MVP with the Nanaimo Pirates in 2015.

PERSONAL: Son of Ken and Kathi. He is pursuing a Global MBA at Southeastern. Zach's favorite professional team is the Boston Red Sox and his favorite athlete is Mookie Betts. He enjoys going fly fishing and watching The Office.
