REDSHIRT SENIOR (2024): Lanzarote started 24 games in 31 appearances at catcher. He notched 17 hits and 15 RBIs with three homers, resulting in a .274 batting average. His .489 on base percentage was highlighted by 19 walks and 12 runs scored. He recorded his first home run of the season against Ottawa University, blasting a two run shot to put the Fire ahead for the first time and leading to a 5-3 victory. In a 9-5 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan, he connected for a three run homer and walked twice. He was also successful in the classroom, earning Sun Conference All-Academic and Daktronics Scholar-Athlete honors.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Named Academic All-Big Ten at Purdue in 2022. Played in 34 games, starting a team-high 22 games behind the plate. Started nine consecutive games in early April, catching 77 of the 80 innings during one stretch. Hit back-to-back home runs with Troy Viola during a March 5th win vs. Longwood. Played his first three collegiate seasons at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi and connected for 13 home runs in 2021 to break the Hinds home run record. Two-time First Team All-State and First Team All-Region. Batted .365 over 296 at-bats in his three years. Honored with the Eagle Award as Hinds’ Student-Athlete of the Year for 2020-21.
