Biography

SENIOR (2025): The fourth-year senior started all 53 games at first base, ramping up all numbers from the 2024 season. Collecting 56 RBIs on 55 hits, with 24 runs scored, adding up to a .346 average and a .573 slugging percentage. She only struck out 11 times in 159 at bats, and homered eight times and walked a Sun Conference best 27 times. She was awarded Sun Conference Softball Player of the Week for her outing in the series sweep of New College of Florida where she drove in the game winning runs in games one and three, and blasted a three run homer. Defensively, she notched 324 putouts on 336 attempts with six assists for a .982 fielding percentage. Her excellence earned her First-Team All-Sun Conference.

JUNIOR (2024): Gonzalez started all 59 games at first base and was awarded First-Team All-Sun Conference for her play. Her .309 batting average was represented by 58 hits, three home runs, 12 doubles and 34 RBIs. She scored 14 runs and took 22 walks. In a 5-3 win over Thomas University she notched two hits in four at bats, one of which was a two RBI home run. Against Warner, she went 2-for-4, scoring twice and driving home three runs with a homer and a single, leading the Fire to a 8-2 victory. Her five hits and three RBIs in the Sun Conference Tournament reserved for her a spot on the Sun Conference Tournament team.

SOPHOMORE (2023): First Team All-Sun Conference. Led the team in RBI's with 37 behind a .375 average and 60 hits. Recorded a .500 slugging percentage with nine doubles, three home runs, and a triple. Led the team in chances as the Fire's first baseman and posted a .977 fielding percentage on 300 chances.

FRESHMAN (2022): Part of the NAIA National Tournament Semifinalist team. Concluded the season with a .288 average, 32 hits, and 20 RBI's. Accumulated a .972 fielding percentage in 175 chances at first base.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named Orange Belt All-Conference as a sophomore, junior, and senior... Captain and MVP senior year.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Lissette and Carlos... Has volunteered with her community Little League and workshops for young girls in her community... Favorite athlete is Ronald Acuna... Hobbies include shopping and the beach.
