FRESHMAN (2026): Cozza's outstanding first year was highlighted by Sun Conference Freshman of the Year honors. He didn't play in the first few games, then started getting looks, and a injured player gave him an opportunity. One he didn't let go of, he batted .374 with 68 hits in 182 at bats. Racking up 52 runs batted in, and scoring 70 times himself. His .588 slugging percentage was produced by seven homers. Additionally, he stole 12 bases. His Sun Conference Player of the Week recognition came in the series with Warner, where in game three he hit two homers, one of which was a grand slam, producing six of the 11 runs as the Fire won 11-5. His season long success was rewarded with First-Team All-Sun Conference honors.
