PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Made 122 career appearances over four years at NCAA Division I Tennessee Tech University. Hit .267 over his career, driving in 65 runs on 91 hits and recording 21 career home runs. Posted a career .981 fielding percentage in the outfield, including his 2019 campaign in with he had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Competed on the 2017 team that appeared in the NCAA Regionals and the 2018 team that won 53 games and made it to the NCAA Super Regionals.

HIGH SCHOOL: Carrera was a two-sport athlete at Gainesville High School, lettering for four years as a center fielder for the baseball team and one year as a receiver on the football team. Won region championships in both baseball and football.

PERSONAL: Son of Angel Carrera. Studying business management at SEU. Has worked with youth baseball players at local camps in the past. Anthony's favorite professional athlete is David Ortiz. He enjoys buying and re-selling shoes and doing anything that involves being outdoors.
