Fire Set for Key Conference Stretch

Baseball and softball continue league play as tennis faces top competition

LAKELAND, Fla. -- Southeastern Athletics enters another competitive week featuring Senior Day on the tennis courts, a key home baseball series, ranked matchups in tennis, and continued outdoor track & field competition. The Fire will be active across multiple sports with both home and road conference contests shaping the week.

Monday, April 6

The week begins with a special day at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex:
  • Women's Tennis hosts St. Petersburg College at 1 p.m. in Lakeland, celebrating Senior Day.

Thursday, April 9

Baseball opens a home Sun Conference series against Ave Maria at 6 p.m. at Ted A. Broer Stadium.

Friday, April 10

A full slate highlights Friday's action:
  • Men's and Women's Track & Field compete at the South Florida Invitational in Tampa.
  • Men's Tennis hosts No. 15 College of Coastal Georgia at 1 p.m. in Lakeland.
  • Women's Tennis faces No. 25 College of Coastal Georgia at 1 p.m. at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.
  • Baseball continues its series against Ave Maria with a 2 p.m. doubleheader at Ted A. Broer Stadium.
  • Softball travels to No. 23 Coastal Georgia for a 2 p.m. doubleheader in Brunswick, Ga.

Saturday, April 11

The week concludes with another busy day of competition:
  • Track & Field continues action at the South Florida Invitational.
  • Baseball closes its series against Ave Maria with an 11 a.m. first pitch in Lakeland.
  • Softball wraps up its series at No. 23 Coastal Georgia with a 12 p.m. contest.
  • Women's Tennis hosts No. 7 SCAD Savannah at 1 p.m.
  • Men's Tennis faces No. 19 SCAD Savannah at 1 p.m. at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.
