SEU Athletics Weekly Outlook

Fire teams compete in tennis, softball, baseball, and track & field across a full early-April schedule

LAKELAND, Fla. -- Southeastern Athletics enters another competitive week featuring home tennis matches, conference softball action in Lakeland, and a key Sun Conference baseball series on the road. Track & field also returns to action with a multi-day meet to continue the outdoor season.

Monday, March 30

The week opens with a strong slate at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex:
  • Men's Tennis hosts No. 7 Xavier (La.) at 10 a.m.
  • Women's Tennis faces No. 6 Xavier (La.) at 10 a.m. in Lakeland.

Wednesday, April 1

Women's Tennis continues home play, hosting New Paltz at 1 p.m. at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.

Thursday, April 2

Multiple Fire teams return to action across the state:
  • Men's and Women's Track & Field begin competition at the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Invite in Daytona Beach, Fla.
  • Softball hosts Warner for a 2 p.m. doubleheader at the SEU Softball Field.
  • Baseball opens a key Sun Conference road series at No. 22 Keiser with a 2 p.m. first pitch in West Palm Beach.

Friday, April 3

A full Friday schedule features competition across several sports:
  • Track & Field continues at the Embry-Riddle Invite.
  • Baseball plays a doubleheader at No. 22 Keiser beginning at 11 a.m.
  • Softball continues its series against Warner with a 12 p.m. home contest in Lakeland.
  • Men's Tennis hosts Eastern Florida State College at 1 p.m. at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.

Saturday, April 4

The week concludes with continued competition:
  • Track & Field wraps up the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Invite.
  • Baseball closes its series at No. 22 Keiser with an 11 a.m. first pitch.
