BABSON PARK, Fla. — The Southeastern University women's soccer team secured a dominant 3-0 shutout victory over Webber International on the road. Following a match that began on October 10 and was resumed the following morning due to weather, the Fire improved to 9-2-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play, while the Warriors moved to 3-8 and 0-4.

Southeastern controlled the pace throughout the contest, outshooting Webber International 10-9 overall with a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal.
The Fire broke open a tight match in the first half with a pair of quick goals that were nearly 17 hours apart.

Momo Sato opened the scoring in the 29th minute—netting her fifth goal of the season off an assist from Sara Irurozki. The game immediately went into a lightning delay that postponed the game to Sunday morning. Just two minutes after the restart, Jenna Maiorino capitalized on a feed from Rebecca Laface to score her first goal of the year, sending Southeastern into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 cushion.

Southeastern continued to apply offensive pressure in the second half, firing eight shots. Sara Irurozki capped off the victory in the 78th minute by finding the back of the net for her ninth goal of the season, assisted by Eden Greenfield. Madison Songer was called to action once and made the save. The Fire defensive unit led by senior center back duo of Olivia Thomassy and Gianna Green anchored the clean sheet.
