LAKELAND, Fla. – Southeastern University Athletics is proud to announce the addition of three new assistant coaches across its Men's Basketball, Football, and Women's Basketball programs.
Xavier Allison joins Fire Men's Basketball as an assistant coach after a successful tenure at Purdue University Northwest (PNW), where he served both as a player and coach since 2019. During his time on the coaching staff, Allison helped guide the Pride to continued improvement each season, culminating in a program-best 13 wins in his final year.
As a player, Allison competed for two seasons at PNW and previously at MiraCosta College, where he was honored as Male Collegiate Athlete of the Year.
Jeremy Harris brings a wealth of experience to the Fire Football program as the new assistant coach for defensive backs. Harris has coached at both the professional and collegiate levels, including positions with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers. He also served as the Speed and Agility Coach at Skills to Make Plays in Los Angeles, California.
Most recently, Harris coached defensive backs and oversaw the passing game at Wilmington College, while also assisting with special teams.
These additions reflect Southeastern's continued commitment to excellence across all sports and reinforce the department's pursuit of championship-caliber coaching and development.
Alexis Tappe joins the Fire Women's Basketball staff. Tappe arrives from Missouri Valley College, where she served as an assistant coach for three seasons. Under her leadership, the Vikings steadily improved and reached new heights in 2023–24, finishing with 22 wins—the second-highest single-season win total in program history.
Tappe also brings a strong playing background, having competed for four years at Northern State University.
