MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Fire majored in bonus points on Saturday. Southeastern University won nine of the weight classes with eight by bonus points and beat Brewton-Parker College decisively, 50-3, on Saturday.
SEU eclipsed 40 team points for the third time this season, and the first time over 50, behind five falls by Aaron Lucio (133), Chris Kelly (149), Michael Kelly (157), Trillyon Fils-Aime (197) and Noah Winder (285). Brodie Christmas (125) was on his way to at least a tech fall when he received a medical forfeit in the third period and both Bruno Ingalls (174) and Jonathan Vanderbilt (184) racked up the points for tech falls. Izac Martinez was the eighth winner at 165 with a major decision.
With the win, the Fire improve to 9-2 on the season. Brewton-Parker falls to 5-7.

Christmas started the day for the Fire with a trio of first-period takedowns and added a 2-point near fall in the second for an 11-2 lead. Following a third-period takedown, Christmas put his Brewton-Parker opponent back on the mat before he received a medial forfeit win when he was up 15-2.
