Fire Bounce Back to Blank Warriors on the Road

Michelotti, Cajuste, and Dieng fuel Southeastern’s return to form in 3–0 win

BABSON PARK, Fla. -- SEU Men's Soccer bounced back in strong fashion Saturday afternoon, earning a 3–0 road victory over Webber International in Babson Park. After suffering a setback at home to SCAD-Savannah on Thursday, the Fire responded with energy and precision on both sides of the ball to collect three key points in Sun Conference play.

The Fire took control early and never relinquished it, scoring twice in the first half. Elia Michelotti broke through in the 14th minute with his first goal of the season, finishing a feed from Sebastian Riebartsch. Carson Cajuste added to the lead in the 26th minute after a setup from Miguel Londono. In the 65th minute, Jman Dieng converted from the penalty spot to make it 3–0 and secure the result.

Goalkeeper Noah Murray-Hawkins recorded his second shutout of the season, turning away five Webber shots—including several key stops in the closing half—as the SEU back line stood firm. The Fire outshot the Warriors 9–10 and made the most of their chances, showing the composure and sharpness that head coach Gerritson Craane's side had been seeking to recapture.

Now 4-4-3 overall and 2-1-1 in Sun Conference play, Southeastern returns home for a marquee matchup against Keiser on Wednesday, October 15 at 7 p.m. at the SEU Soccer Field.
