Southeastern moved to 5-1 on the year after sweeping Thomas University in a doubleheader last week.
Ella Brooks is hitting .625 through 16 at bats with ten hits.
Chapel Cunningham has 11 hits on the season, batting .458 for the Fire.
SEU has 53 hits on the season, scoring 20 runs as a team.
Through 44 innings, the Fire pitching staff has an ERA of 1.59 with 29 strikeouts and just seven walks.

Edan Playa both sit at 2-0 on the season.
The Fire will match up against New College of Florida Friday at 10 a.m. at the SEU Softball Field. The Mighty Banyans have a 1-8 record on the season, with their only win being against Heartland Community College, who they beat 5-0.
New College is hitting .347 as a team through 214 at bats, while their opponents are hitting an average of .469.
In their second game of the day, SEU will face Florida National University at 3 p.m. The Conquistadors hold a 3-2 record, dropping one to Palm Beach Atlantic, splitting with Florida Memorial, and winning two against Ave Maria. Florida National has a .237 batting average with a .322 on base percentage. They have scored 15 runs through their five games played.
