CLEVELAND, Ga.—The only points scored by SEU opponents came from three forfeits as Southeastern won every contested match on the day to win all four of its matches at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Duals.
The Fire posted four technical falls and three pins to cruise to a 47-6 win over St. Andrews. All three matches against Pikeville ended in the first period by fall or technical fall for a 53-0 win. The Fire recorded four more pins with three in the first period of a 48-6 win over Truett-McConnell. Only two matches made it out of the first period in a 48-6 win over Montreat.
Chris Kelly recorded a first period fall in his match against Pikeville and a second period fall in the match against Truett.
Andrew Voiles went 4-0 with a fall 47 seconds into his first match and a pair of technical falls.
Sal Silva went 4-0 at 157 winning three technical falls and scored 48 match points. At 174,
Graham Calhoun had a first period fall and a first period technical fall with
Karter Johnson recording a pair of first period falls.
Gabe Jacobs needed just 2:57 of mat time for his three pins on the day.
The Fire are back in action on Friday at home against second-ranked Life at 7 p.m.
