Box Score TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla.- Despite a slow start that saw Southeastern volleyball fall behind one set to none, the Fire battled back to take the next three sets on the road against Florida College to move to 7-2 on the season.

The Fire had three individuals with double digit kills including a team-high 14 from
Grace Petty, 12 from
Cambry Pope, and 11 from
Tatyana Lyons. Lyons also accumulated five blocks throughout the night.

Set one saw the Fire fall 25-22 after nine attack errors.

In set two, the Fire jumped out to an 8-3 lead behind three attack errors and two quick kills by Petty. That lead was lengthened towards the end of the set with the Fire going on an 8-1 run behind kills from five different Fire players. A Falcon service error would conclude set two with the Fire recording a match-high 16 kills.

In set three, the Fire kept all momentum, jumping out to a 6-0 lead behind six-straight serves from
Alexandra Postlethwaite. A Falcon kill and two straight Fire attack errors aided in a slight comeback as the Falcons would bring the set within three. Later in the set, six-straight attack errors by the Fire allowed the Falcons to tie the set at 19 but a kill by
Sylvia Liszewski and a Jacqueline Christianson ace gave the Fire back a slight cushion. Lyons then recorded two of her five blocks within three plays, including the combined block with
Emilia Harding to conclude the 25-21 set three.

Southeastern hit a match-best .297 in the final set to take the 25-19 win. A back-and forth set four saw nine tie scores. With the Fire leading 16-15, Lyons recorded back-to-back kills to help the Fire pull away and back-to-back kills by
Chapel Cunningham secured the victory.

Postlethwaite led the team in assists with 24.

th as they open Sun Conference play on the road against Coastal Georgia.
