Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla.—Southeastern improved to 5-0-1 in Sun Conference play with a 2-0 victory at Webber International Saturday afternoon.
The Fire cranked out seven shots on goal with two corners in the first half, but only had a
Naira Lopez penalty kick in the ninth minute to show for their efforts.
Defensively, Southeastern limited the Warriors to three shots in the first half and just one in the second half which was not on goal.
Lopez took a corner kick in the 54
th minute that bounced around and found the foot of
Viktoria Lederer who ripped it into the back of the net to push the lead to two.
Micaela Owen made three saves to run SEU's shutout streak to 450 minutes.
The Fire will travel to SCAD on Wednesday to complete their first trip through the conference.
