LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern picked up three points in The Sun Conference standings behind goals from three of its leading scorers this season.

The Fire picked up a 3-1 win over Webber International Saturday afternoon, dominating possession with 11 shots on goal to four for the Warriors.

Roque Viegas Jr. headed in a corner kick by Marko Pengili in the 24th minute of the contest for his fourth goal of the season to get the Fire (5-2-2, 3-2-1 SUN) on the board first. Chris Thorpe sent a cross to the center of the box for Gianluca Contegno who hammered home his third goal of the season in the 32nd minute of play to push the advantage to two.

Less than three minutes later, Victor Cavalcante connected on a penalty kick for his fifth strike of the season.

With 56 seconds left in the first half, the Warriors got a goal from Arnor Magnusson to get back within two.

During the second half, the Fire dominated possession, limiting Webber (2-6-2, 1-4-1 SUN) to five shots none of which were on goal. Esteban Navarrete made three saves in his first career start to pick up the win.
