Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- Southeastern men's soccer had the tough task of taking on Florida Memorial University on the road just 24 hours after yesterday's road contest in West Palm Beach.

The Fire fell to 4-2-2 on the season with a 2-1 loss in Miami Gardens after playing through some foul trouble late in the contest. The matchup saw a combined 37 fouls and 14 yellow cards between the two teams.

Both teams got off nine shots in the first half with the Lions taking a 1-0 lead into halftime after a goal in the 41
st minute.

Henrique Cavalini had his work cut out for him in the second half, making six saves on nine more shots from the Lions including one on a penalty kick in the 62
nd minute to keep the Fire within one.

The game-tying goal came in the 73
rd minute after
Kory Nekoloff took an assist from
Edward Alderson and turned it into his second goal of the season.

The Lions responded quickly with the eventual game-winning goal just three minutes later off a free kick.

Southeastern will look to bounce back on Saturday as they host Webber International at 1 p.m.
