As the Fire continue with conference play, several Southeastern teams turn heads in the national coaches' poll. Fire Football opens their conference schedule this weekend back at home, while men's and women's soccer both make waves in the national polls. Golf opens their fall season in Georgia this week with both the men's and women's teams being nationally ranked.
RV Men's Soccer
9/26 @ Keiser University at 12 p.m.
9/27 @ Florida Memorial University at 11 a.m.
9/30 vs. Webber International University at 1 p.m.
Men's Soccer is receiving votes in the national coaches' poll. The Fire will resume play in the 59th minute of the game vs. No. 13 Keiser, which was postponed last week due to weather. Florida Memorial is 1-1-1 in conference play, with a tie against No. 13 Keiser. Webber is 1-3 in conference play, taking a 1-0 win over Ave Maria.
Volleyball
9/27 vs. Warner University at 7 p.m.
9/30 @ Keiser University at 2 p.m.
Fire Volleyball aims to bounce back this week after dropping their first conference loss to receiving votes St. Thomas University in four sets. This week, they face off against two more conference opponents. Warner University is 3-7 on the year but coming into the week off a win over Webber International 3-2. Keiser University is currently 18-6 on the year and 2-1 in conference play.
#13 Women's Soccer
9/27 vs. Florida Memorial University at 7 p.m.
9/30 @ Webber International University at 3:30 p.m.
Women's Soccer continues to make strides as they move to No. 13 in the national polls. They're coming off a 3-0 conference win over Warner University and will face off against two more conference opponents this week. Florida Memorial is 0-4 in conference play but has wins over New College of Florida and Florida National. Webber also took a win over Florida National 2-0. Their overall record is 1-5-1 and 0-3-1 in the conference.
Football
9/30 vs. Warner University @ 7 p.m.
Fire Football has their first conference matchup this Saturday against Warner University. The Royals are 3-0 on the season, defeating Brevard College, University of Fort Lauderdale, and Kentucky Christian. The Fire look to bounce back after a 16-13 loss in overtime at Faulkner University this past weekend.
#7 Women's Golf and #11 Men's Golf
9/24, 9/25, 9/26 @ Innisbrook Invite in Dalton, Ga.
Fire Men's and Women's golf open their season this week as they are in Dalton, Georgia competing in the Innisbrook Invite. Both teams are highly rated in the national polls and return a lot of talent to the lineups.
