LAKELAND, Fla.- The Southeastern University women's soccer team found themselves ranked the No. 11 team in the NAIA today upon the release of the NAIA Preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
Last season, the Fire posted a 14-4-2 record with all four losses coming against Top 15 teams including two from then-ranked No. 1, Keiser University.
Southeastern advanced to the NAIA National Tournament First and Second Round after earning an at-large bid. In the First Round, the Fire defeated Georgia Gwinnett 4-0 before falling to then-ranked No. 15 Westmont College 1-0 to end the season.
The new season will begin on August 30
th as the No. 11 Fire host Brewton-Parker at 5:30 p.m.
