KANSAS CITY, Mo.- In poll three of the 2023 NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25, Southeastern baseball remained the unanimous No. 1 team in the country with all 20 first-place votes.

The Fire hold a 30-1 overall record and rank at the top of the NAIA in nearly every category including batting average (.370), slugging percentage (.705), home runs (86), and runs (349) and rank second nationally in stolen bases with 68.

Isaac Nunez currently sits at fourth in the NAIA in hits with 47 and holds a team-high .452 batting average.
Gary Lora and
Stephen Cullen sit tied for the team-lead and seventh-best national spot in home runs with 11.

Southeastern's pitching staff also ranks as one of the best in the NAIA with a 2.67 ERA and .207 opponent batting average. Fourteen different arms average more than 10 strikeouts per nine innings including
Darien Smith who's 15.53 strikeouts per game ranks second nationally.
Danny Batcher's 1.23 ERA ranks fifth-best nationally.
