LAKELAND, Fla.- After having their six-game win streak snapped by one point with a 70-69 loss to Webber International on the road last week, Southeastern women's basketball will look to begin a new streak this week as they face second-place St. Thomas University at home on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and will end the week in Miami Gardens on Saturday for a contest against the top team in the Sun Conference, Florida Memorial, at 2 p.m.

The Fire (12-11, 9-4 SUN) currently sit at third in the Sun Conference.

Over their past seven contests, the Fire offense has been at its peak with a field goal percentage of 42% and a three-point percentage of 35% for an average of nearly 71 points per contest.
Kiki Britzmann and
Josselin Geer have stepped up as of late, each averaging 15 points per contest with Geer shooting 51% from midrange and 43% from distance. Britzmann has also been successful from midrange, shooting 50% while leading the Fire with 6.6 rebounds per game and 13 blocks.
Emilia Sexton has led the Fire in assists and steals over the last seven contests with 37 assists and 12 steals.

The Bobcats (19-6, 10-3 SUN) come into the week as the second-place team in the SUN after winning four consecutive conference contests. Collectively, the Bobcats average 76.3 points per conference contest with a field goal percentage of 38.7%. Mya Moye leads the offensive push with an average of 15.4 points per game behind a field goal percentage of 43% and three-point percentage of 42.7% (32-75). Moye also leads the Bobcats in assists (39) and steals (21). Defensively, Paige McDonald averages a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game.

The 18-5 and 12-1 Lions of Florida Memorial are looking for their 10
th consecutive win this week as they sit at the top of the Sun Conference. Tianna Ayulo and Aliyah-Deen Ahmad have dominated the Sun Conference with 20.6 and 20.2 points per contest with a 48% midrange effort from Ayulo and 50% effort from Ahmad. Ayulo also leads the team in rebounding with 9.9 per contest, assists with three per game, and steals with 3.7 per game.
