LAKELAND, Fla.- After concluding the regular season with a 12-14 overall record and 9-7 Sun Conference record, Southeastern women's basketball will host Webber International at 7 p.m. on Tuesday for the first round of the Sun Conference Tournament.

Southeastern comes into the tournament seeded third while the Warriors hold the No. 6 seed.

Throughout the regular season, the Fire averaged 73.1 points per contest in conference games behind a 41.6% effort from the field and 32.9% effort from three-point range which leads all other team in the SUN.
Kiki Britzmann emerged as a strong presence for the Fire, leading the team in scoring against SUN opponents with 14.9 points per game and a field goal percentage of 51.6% which ranks second in the conference. From distance,
Emilia Sexton and
Anja Knoflach concluded the season with 38 and 39 shots from beyond the arc with Knoflach leading the Fire with a percentage of .368. Sexton also leads the SUN in assists with 4.4 per game (5.3 in SUN play) and has tallied a team-leading 30 steals against conference opponents.
Josselin Geer has been the top defensive presence of the Fire, posting 6.5 rebounds per game.

The Warriors come into the postseason with an 11-15 overall record and 8-8 conference record and are coming off an 82-70 loss to top-seeded Florida Memorial. The Warriors average 65 points per game against SUN opponents for the second lowest average per game in the conference. Jaida Burgess has been a majority of the offense for the Warriors, averaging 17.1 points per game after taking 60 more midrange shots than her closest teammate. Burgess also leads the Warriors in rebounding with 6.7 per game while Samantha Pacheco leads the team in assists (3.9/game) and steals (2.6/game).

The Fire and the Warriors have met twice this season with the Fire taking the 81-76 victory at home and dropping the road contest 70-69. Southeastern is 14-5 all-time at home against the Warriors.
