GAINESVILLE, Fla.—Southeastern added an NAIA 'A' Qualifying Standard and moved up the leaderboard in a few other events during the RADD Collegiate Last Chance on Thursday.
Keishon Franklin turned a 'B' Standard in the 400 into an 'A' Standard by running a season-best 48.54 to place third. He also ran the second leg of the 4x400 Relay which posted the second-fastest time in the NAIA at 3:12.84, joining
Davien Worrels,
James Turner, and
Joseph Taylor on the team.
Taylor won the 400 Meters with a time of 48.08 and Worrels was fourth in 48.59. Both had previously achieved 'A' Standards in the event.
Turner was tops in the 600 Meters in 1:22.57.
Glenn Rodgers and
Davonte Vanterpool went 1-2 in the 60 Hurdles in times of 7.95 and 7.99 with
Darion Carter fifth in 8.24.
Karlos Jackson placed third in the Weight Throw at 13.98 meters and fourth in the Shot Put at 12.23 meters.
On the women's side,
Tenae Grigsby posted a season-best time on the 60 Hurdles of 8.9 to finish third in the event.
Miyah Ford was the runner-up in the Triple Jump with a best mark of 11.23 meters.
MarieAnge Moussignac was third in the Weight Throw at 13.73 meters.
