LAKELAND, Fla.- After a huge 2-0 week that claimed them the sole spot at the top of the Sun Conference, Southeastern men's basketball has the chance to clinch the Sun Conference Regular Season title this week as they host Keiser University on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for Senior Night and their final contest of the regular season.

The Fire (15-12, 11-4 SUN) have won seven of their last eight contests, only dropping a three-point battle to Warner University on the road in that stretch. Through those eight contests, the Fire have shot 46.6% from the field and 35% from three-point range for 72.5 points per game while the defense has held their opponents to just 64 points per game and 38% from midrange.
Sean Shore has converted 30 of his 60 shots from midrange (50%) over the last seven contests while
Reggie Mesidor has averaged 15.3 points per game behind a 23-56 (41%) effort from beyond the arc.
Riley Minix has been nearly unstoppable, averaging 23.4 points behind a field goal percentage of 61.8% and three-point percentage of 40%. On the defensive front, Minix ranks as the top threat in the nation in defensive rebounds (235), total rebounds (300), and rebounds per game (13.6).

The Seahawks (15-11, 8-7 SUN) sit in the middle of the SUN and are coming off a big win over No. 14 ranked Florida College by a score of 105-99. As a unit, the Seahawks average 78.8 points per game with a field goal percentage of 43.5%. Justin Tucker leads the offense with 14.9 points per game against SUN opponents after tallying a field goal percentage of 52%. Brandon Younger has been the most successful distance shooter, knocking down 22 three-point shots for a .407 average. Tucker and Younger have also been the top rebounders, sitting at 7.8 and 6.6 per game.
