SAVANNAH, Ga. - Southeastern women's soccer dropped their first conference contest of the season today to No. 7 SCAD on the road, 3-2.
The Fire managed 14 shots with nine on goal while the Bees had 20 shots, 14 of those on goal.
The Bees had their first goal in the 39th minute of play.
Southeastern tied things up early in the second half thanks to a goal by Naira Lopez, making it her third goal on the season.
SCAD quickly advanced the score 2-1, putting away a goal just one minute later by Sydney Chura, her second goal of the night.
In the 67th minute, Savannah Abigail Siddall put one down for the Bees, stretching the lead 3-1.
In the last minute of play, Karissa King scored her first goal of the season to bring the Fire within one.
Madelyn Davidson led the Fire with three shots, while King, Lopez, and Viktoria Lederer all had two each.
Micaela Owen ended the contest with 11 saves on 14 shots faced.
Southeastern will next face off at home against SUN opponent Ave Maria this Saturday at 7 p.m.
