LAKELAND, Fla.- A new week for Southeastern men's soccer will see them in action twice beginning on Wednesday at 7 p.m. as they play host to No. 17 ranked, Keiser University. On Saturday, the Fire will head to Babson Park Fla. to take on Webber International at 3:30 p.m.

The Fire moved to 8-3-2 and 6-3-1 in Sun Conference play last week after a 1-1 week. The Fire fell to No. 3 St. Thomas by a score of 4-1 before downing Warner University by the same score to end the week.

Southeastern begins the week averaging 2.69 goals per contest and 16.9 shots per contest while the defense has held opponents to 1.31 goals and 10.7 shots per game.

Gianluca Contegno moved into a tie for the team lead in goals with
Victor Cavalcante at seven each.
Roque Viegas Jr. has been a part of nine different Fire goals this season, recording five goals and four assists. Defensively,
Henrique Cavalini has posted a 5-3-2 record in goal with 33 saves for a .688 save percentage.

The No. 17 ranked Seahawks begin the week with a 7-3-4 record and 6-1-3 conference record and are coming off a 1-0-1 week after tying SCAD-Savannah 2-2 and beating Florida Memorial 4-0.

The second-place SUN team averages 2.57 goals and 14.1 shots per game and are led by Aldair Chavez who has recorded nine goals and three assists thus far. Mikael Baisotti has also been a driving force for the Seahawk offense with eight goals and two assists. The defense currently allows 1.14 goals per contest and are led by keeper Santiago Nebot who has posted a .771 save percentage with 54 saves.

The Fire and the Seahawks met earlier this season with both teams battling to a 1-1 tie in West Palm Beach.

Webber International (4-8-2, 3-6-1 SUN) currently sits sixth in the conference, most recently dropping a narrow loss to the No. 3 Bobcats 1-0 in Miami Gardens.

Collectively, the Warriors average 1.21 goals per game while allowing 1.93 per game. The offense is led by Ruben Marquez with six goals while the defense is captained by Ben Parkinson, the keeper who has recorded a .679 save percentage on 90 shots faced.

This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season with the first falling in favor of the Fire with a 3-1 win in Lakeland.
