LAKELAND, Fla.- Southeastern men's basketball will spend the back half of the week in Georgia as they compete against receiving votes Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga. on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and will conclude the week on Saturday with a 4 p.m. contest against the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick.

Coming off a big Sun Conference win over Ave Maria last week, the Fire (10-11, 6-3 SUN) currently sit at third place in the SUN, averaging 77 points per conference contest and shooting 47% from the field and 36% from three-point range. Against SUN opponents,
Riley Minix holds a double-double average of 19.3 points per game and 15 rebounds per game while
Sean Shore also averages a double-double with 10.8 points per game and 10 rebounds per contest.
Reggie Mesidor has had a hot hand from distance against conference competitors, shooting a commanding 40% from distance (25-62) for an average of 15.1 points per contest.
Jalan Mull and
Joshua Blazquez have also played strong offensive basketball in conference play as Mull has tallied a field goal percentage of .542 while Blazquez has shot .455 from midrange.

The Night Hawks of Thomas University currently sit at second in the conference with a 7-2 SUN record and 14-4 overall record. Averaging 77.5 points per game, the Night Hawks are shooting 43.7% from midrange and 36% from distance and are led by Mohammed Abubakar's 14.9 points per game and .520 field goal percentage. Jarvis Brown has been the most successful extra-point shooter for the Night Hawks as he has posted a three point percentage of 40% after going 22-55 from distance. Jordan Booker ranks first in the conference in steals with 53 (2.9 per game) and second in the SUN in assists with 101 (5.6 per game).

The Mariners of Coastal Georgia have posted a 3-15 overall record and 1-8 SUN record this season with two of their three wins coming against receiving votes teams Reinhardt University and Thomas University by a narrow 70-68 victory to claim their lone conference win. The Mariners currently average 69.2 points per contest behind a 43% effort from midrange. Turnovers and struggles at the free throw line have contributed to the Mariners' losing record as they have gone 65% from the line while averaging 15.3 turnovers per contest.
