LAKELAND, Fla.- In the dominating defensive effort, the Southeastern University men's soccer team advanced to 3-2-2 on the season with a 3-0 victory over Florida College.

In the first quarter,
Gianluca Contegno found the back of the net in less than six minutes for his fourth goal of the season and the 1-0 Fire lead.

th minute,
Caio Guazzelli connected with the bottom right corner of the net to advance the Fire lead to two.

Less than 10 minutes out of the locker room, Roque Viegas Jr. took an assist from
Aitor Granero and snuck it past the keeper in the bottom right corner for the 3-0 lead.

The Fire defense controlled the Falcons for 90 minutes, allowing just three shots and one on goal while the Fire offense managed 28 total shots and 13 on goal.

Carlos Curado advanced his individual record to 1-0-1 with the shutout.

The Fire will cease contests until next week when they take on Trinity College at home on September 24
th at 7 p.m.
