KANSAS CITY, Mo.- In the fourth installment of the 2022 NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the Southeastern University Fire collected 19 first place votes to remain at the top of the NAIA.

After dropping just three games for the entirety of the 2022 season, the Fire have posted a 38-3 record and 15-2 Sun Conference record.

The Fire rank top in the nation in nearly every offensive category while also ranking first in ERA, shutouts, and opponent batting average.

Collectively, the Fire has posted a nation leading .365 average, .457 on base percentage, and .612 slugging percentage with 494 hits, 95 doubles, and 75 home runs.

Brian Fuentes and
Abdel Guadalupe both rank first in the NAIA in home runs with 15 while Fuentes' .433 average and .823 slugging percentage rank second nationally. Fuentes also ranks third in the NAIA in RBI's with a team-leading 58 while Guadalupe's .844 slugging percentage puts him just above his teammate for the top spot in the NAIA.

The ace arm of
Robb Adams also sits at the top of the NAIA in most categories including wins (11), complete games (4), shutouts (4), innings pitched (76.0), strikeouts (88), and ERA (.59) while his 10.42 strikeouts per game comes in at second.

The top-ranked Fire will next take on Florida Memorial on the road in Miami Gardens this weekend on Friday at 1 and 4 p.m. and Saturday at 12 p.m.
