LAKELAND, Fla.- After posting a 7-1 record over their last eight contests including the most recent 3-2 upset victory over the top team in the conference, the Southeastern University volleyball team fought themselves to a fourth-place finish in the Sun Conference and will host the fifth-place Florida Memorial Lions on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Sun Conference Tournament quarterfinal.

Over the last eight games, the Fire have posted a .240 attack percentage and average 13.5 kills per set.
Emilia Harding has led the offense with 103 kills and an attack percentage of .396 while
Baylee Warneke has stepped up defensively with has 25 blocks over the last 30 sets.
Holly Kaczmarek has averaged 5.4 digs per set while
Alexandra Postlethwaite was averaged 5.9 assists per set.

The Lions hold a current record of 11-9 and 7-8 in the SUN and are coming off a 3-0 loss to Ave Maria to conclude the regular season. Caroline Souza sits as the current leader in kills with 221 and holds a .236 hitting percentage to aid in the Lions' team hitting percentage of .191. Offensively, the Lions average 11.1 kills per set and 12.3 digs per set on the defensive side. Souza also leads the Lions in digs with 163 for an average of 2.9 per set.

The Fire are 2-0 against the Lions thus far this season, winning both contests 3-1. With a win on Tuesday, the Fire will advance to the SUN semifinals on Friday.
