Southeastern Receives Women’s Soccer First and Second Round Host Site

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Southeastern University was selected as one of 10 host sites for the NAIA Women's Soccer National Tournament First and Second Round earlier today.
 
This marks the fifth time in program history that the Fire have received a first and second round host site. Southeastern has also hosted two women's basketball first and second rounds, a men's basketball first and second round, and a baseball opening round.
 
Southeastern will host three other teams November 17th and 19th for the Lakeland Bracket of the national tournament. Teams will be seeded one through four with one playing four and two playing three on Thursday. The winners will meet on Saturday in the final. Game times on Thursday will be 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. with the Fire playing the second game.
 
Saturday's championship game will be at 6 p.m. The winner of the second-round game will advance to the final site in Orange Beach, Ala. with play beginning on November 29th.
