Box Score THOMASVILLE, Ga.- In their second consecutive shutout, the Southeastern University women's soccer team (12-2-2, 6-1-1 SUN) concluded the regular season with a 2-0 victory over the Thomas University Night Hawks (8-4-4, 3-2-3 SUN).
In the 26
th minute, the No. 10 Fire earned a corner kick that would result in a Fire lead heading into halftime.
Karissa King took the corner kick and placed it perfectly inside the box.
Ariadna Lozano managed to get off a beautiful header from King's assist and put it into the upper portion of the goal for the 1-0 lead.
Mason Schilling would then tack on an insurance goal in the 64
th minute off after finishing a header by King off a free kick.
The Fire would outshoot the Night Hawks 17-8 and 10-2 on goal.
Holly Eddins would complete her sixth shutout of the season with the two saves. King would conclude the contest with two assists.
The Fire will next host the Sun Conference Semifinal on Tuesday.
