LAKELAND, Fla.- After advancing to 6-1-1 on the season with Tuesday's 2-0 win over Georgia Gwinnett, the No. 9 ranked Southeastern University women's soccer team will look ahead to two more contests this week as they open Sun Conference play tonight against Florida Memorial on the road at 7 p.m. The week will conclude with a Saturday home contest against St. Thomas at 3 p.m.
The Lions of Florida Memorial are searching for their first win of the season after opening the year 0-2 with their last contest resulting in a loss to St. Thomas. Through the two games, the Lions have been outscored 19-0 with Hailey Illijin collecting 36 saves and a .655 save percentage.
The receiving votes Bobcats hold a current record of 5-3-1 and opened their Sun Conference season with a dominating win over Florida Memorial. Collectively, the Bobcats have found the back of the net 25 times for an average of 2.78 goals per contest behind nearly twenty shots a game. Miranda Ferradaz and Karina Medina have put together impressive campaigns thus far with Ferradaz recording five goals and seven assists, coming in at No. 14 nationally in assists, and Medina netting eight goals and assisting on another. In goal, Isabella Penaranda has accumulated an .829 save percentage, allowing just six goals on 35 shots.
Southeastern has found the back of the net 20 times thus far this season with 2.5 goals per contest and 12.9 shots per game.

Ramsey Watkins has collected seven total points on two goals and three assists. Keeper
Holly Eddins holds a current record of 5-1-1 and a .750 save percentage, denying 30 of the 40 shots faced.
