Women's Soccer to See Just One Contest this Week

LAKELAND, Fla.- After a busy three-game week last week, the No. 9 ranked Southeastern University women's soccer team will head into a calm week with just one contest happening on Thursday as they take on Webber International in Babson Park, Fla. at 4 p.m.
 
With an 8-1-1 record and 2-0 Sun Conference record, the Fire have outscored opponents 36-11 with 3.6 goals and 16.9 shots per contest. Senior Naira Lopez has accumulated team-high nine goals two assists and currently ranks No. 2 in the nation in game-winning goals with five. Mason Schilling has also been an offensive threat off the bench for the Fire with four goals and an assist in just two games started.
 
Holly Eddins currently sits at 31 saves in goal for the Fire with 11 goals allowed and a 7-1-1 record.
 
The Warriors have strung together an impressive 7-1 start with their only loss coming against the top team in the NAIA, Keiser University, by a score of 6-1 to even their Sun Conference record at one.
 
Through eight contests, the Warriors have found the back of the net 22 times for an average of 2.75 goals per game behind 15.9 shots per contest. Brazil Clark has been the biggest offensive threat with seven goals and an assist while Lucia De La Llera has recorded three goals and an assist for seven points.
 
In goal, Cameron Laine has accumulated 25 saves through seven starts and has allowed eight goals for a save percentage of .758.
